Steemplus 2.17 : Tips

Sending money to someone while you are reading a post can be annoying sometimes. You need to go to your wallet, stop what you were doing... Not really convenient.

That's the reason why we decided to add a tip button. This button will be available in the user popup.

On top of the two existing buttons, Mute and Follow (or Unfollow) you will now have a third on Tip. After clicking on this button, you will be able to chose the value of the tip (in SBD).

You can easily send 0.5, 1, 2 5 or 10 SBD. You can also use the last one to send as many SBD as you want/need.

A click on one of those button will open a new page to confirm the transfer via SteemConnect.

How to update?

On Chrome and Opera, it should update automatically when you restart your browser. Otherwise, right click on the extension icon > Manage my extensions > Update . On Firefox you will have to reinstall the whole extension from Chrome Foxified.

True value of your account on your wallet (calculated with current SBD and STEEM market prices)

Installation procedures

You can download and install SteemPlus directly from the Chrome Store if you are using Chrome (follow this link ).

A few observations:

You have some formatting mistakes like empty lines or indent issues. You could avoid this by using eslint or prettier.

Yes! a few minutes ago i un-install the 2.16 version and installed the 2.17 version of steem-plus. The TIP option works nice for steemit user i hope. Specially for them who arrange contest and send TIP to the contested user. I got one TIP already :) for a post contest/challenge.

Excellent work, folks! This SteemPlus tool is making MAJOR positive change to my overall Steemit experience. I think it will be a good experiment to meditate over the next few days on just how much value this excellent tool is providing (and will continue to provide into the future), and then send you a tip based on my assessment of such value. it might also be a good idea to encourage people who are using (and benefitting from) this tool to give more REGULAR, smaller tips, as they gain value from the tool over time. I think people are more willing to give, let's say, $0.50 SBD every week as opposed to a larger tip in one shot (especially the minnows). All in all, I am VERY excited about the progress of this tool, and look forward to what you will be rolling out into the future. Actually, now that I think of it, I can probably more easily justify a tip by using some of the proceeds of my weekly "Steemit-Twitter Marketing Campaign" series posts, as I invest part of the payouts of those posts into buying points on SteemFollower. I can also give the SteemPlus tool (and your profile) and shout-out/mention in those posts into the future. Yes, I will do that. I've also (gladly) just voted @stoodkev as witness.
