Tomorrow at 8 pm is a bitcoin hard fork which had been cancelled on november. The way I see there is no such excitement about it this time around and crypto people rather looking forward to lightining network. Whether hard fork will solve the problem of bitcoin community time will tell me personally waiting for lightining network which if successful will certainly improve a speed of transactions and will make a lower fees. At the moment bitcoin remains as rather social platform where people exchange information, buy another cryptocurrencies and store a store of value. In order to get segwit2x please keep your bitcoin on wallet with private key but also exchanges like binance and bittrex will take snapshot and support a hard fork.
