As a food lover myself, the other thing better than food is discounted food and the best foods are the free ones right?

I saw Booky Ph app many months ago but choose to ignore as I'm thinking maybe its one of those crappy app. Until one of my friends shared her experience using the app and I immediately downloaded it ROFL!

What’s In It?

After downloading and signing up with basic info(or you can just connect it directly to your Facebook account), you get to avail Buy 1 Take 1 and P500 discounts in selected establishments and restaurants (with a minimum of P1000 spend for FREE) and it works OFFLINE too, no internet needed.

My Booky Experience

I wanted to try it out for myself, so with my classmate, we went to Happy Lemon as its near our school and the most convenient choice for us. When we arrived at Happy Lemon, I opened the Booky App and preceded to the Buy 1 Get 1 option tab, chose Happy Lemon’s drink.

After choosing the Buy 1 Get 1 offer, the digital coupon will appear with a timer. You will have 10 minutes to redeem the coupon, so its best to access it when you are ready to order or you're in front of counter.

I just presented the coupon on my phone to the cashier, and my transaction was processed right away. We split it in 2, so each one of us just paid P44.5 each! (other classmates downloaded the app to avail since there was 6 of us). Below is a screenshot of the perks I availed already. Saved a total of P439 haha not bad right?

I haven’t tried booking a table yet using the app discount perks, but reading the FAQ, you can book up to 30 minutes before your seating time but not more than 2 weeks before the actual date.

My take on this APP

My overall experience with Booky Ph was great and here are my observations:

Upon registration Booky Ph comes with P1000 credits for your trial of the app. If you want to continue enjoying the Buy 1 Take 1/Discount perks you need to pay P199 per month (no amount limit).
For those who will subscribe to Booky Prime, you can only pay via credit card.
For the Buy 1 Get 1 offers, it can only be used once for the free trial. For Booky Prime, the offer will refresh monthly.
There are many choices available, as they add more restaurants and/or establishments in the app but have limited location available and some are very far from us.
I also experienced where I swipe to claim the coupon too early and the line was so long. When I reached the counter, the 10 mins runs out and the coupon became invalid. I sent an email to their support team but they took a while to reply as they are only open during business hours.
Booky Ph is available for download in file sizes of around 55MB on iOS and 29MB on Android
