# Bartenders

🇪🇸 Español Hola amigos de Hive, este es mi segundo post en esta plataforma hoy les vengo a contar mi experiencia sobre el curso de bartender profesional que Realice recientemente en Academia cocktail. Donde vimos desde los orígenes principales alcoholes del mundo, implementos, tipos de cócteles, y un poco de la historia de la coctelería.

El primer bartender conocido fue Jerry Thomas nació en 1830 en la bahía de Sackets Harbor, Nueva York. Fue conocido como “el Profesor”. Creador de la guía del bartender Actualmente es considerado como el padre de la mixología moderna y el primer “flair bartender” de la historia. Es decir, el primer barman que hizo del arte de combinar bebidas todo un espectáculo, El fue acusado en su país natal de brujería por realizar el primer cóctel flameado y huyó a Europa donde fue bien recibido. Más a la actualidad Santiago Policastro nacido el 1 de septiembre de 1912 fue la persona que perfecciono el arte del barman donde se crearon las reglas del barman y barstaff.el ser bartender es un arte donde la intención es alegrar y no embriagar , hacer el cliente un amigo y no del amigo un cliente, mantener siempre buena actitud, hablar lo necesario, evitar temas que puedan ofender a las personas de alguna manera con puede ser Política, Religión, Deportes o discriminación, Hay que ser limpio y cordiales en todo momento, ser paciente con los ayudantes, ser solidarios y escuchar recomendaciones. En el arte del bartender hay muchas formas de realizar este oficio y hay muchas personas que participan detrás de barra. Flair bartender:es el que realiza pequeñas acrobacias al momento de servir un cóctel. Working Flai: Es dar un estilo de armonía artística en esta profesión, cada bartender es único en el flair. Exhibition Flair: de es la Exhibición practicado a modo de espectáculo y entretenimiento en bares o en competiciones y normalmente incluye rutinas de movimientos coreografiadas y de mayor duración. El bar staff o personal de bar está conformado por el Bar manager quién se encarga de la organización y administración del bar, el capitán de bar que se encarga de estar pendiente también que todo es este en orden tanto en la atención como en la organización, el Bartender será quién se encargue de servir los cócteles y los ayudantes que ayudan a tener todo en su lugar, limpio ordenado y listo para servir cócteles el equipo de trabajo puede variar según en el espacio donde se encuentren, pueden ser más o menos personas.

*Bebidas Alcohólicas Principales* (Principal Alcoholic Beverages)

♦️Vodka

Es de origen ruso algunos dicen polaco Desde el claro clásico, degustación pura, licor de triple destilación, a través de estilos de sabores contemporáneos, la capacidad de mezcla suprema del vodka ha hecho que sea la base para algunos de los cócteles favoritos del mundo y bebidas mezcladas.Se produce generalmente a través de la fermentación de granos y otras plantas ricas en almidón, como el centeno, trigo, patata o remolacha. tiene entre 37 y 50 grados de alcohol dependiendo las normas del país donde se distribuye.

♦️GIN (Ginebra)

Es de origen Holandés Una dede las categorías más antiguas y más históricas de los licores. Clásicamente hecha de bayas de enebro, ha crecido de manera que nos ha permitido beberlo con muchos otros botánicos en varios estilos.La ginebra tiene alrededor de 40 grados de alcohol varía según la reglas de regulación de cada país.

♦️RON

El ron es el licor de los trópicos hechos de melaza o caña de azúcar virgen. Los rones pueden ser oscuros, claros o dorados, reposados por algunos días o envejecidos por muchos años, pero la ubicación en el Caribe o América del Sur siempre estará en su corazón. Me siento orgulloso de decir que la denominación de origen del Ron es Venezuela considerado el mejor Ron del mundo por ganar tantos premios a nivel mundial.tiene entre 35 a 80 grados de alcohol.

♦️Whisky- whiskey

De origen escoses irlandés es una bebida alcohólica y espirituosa obtenida por la destilación de la malta fermentada de cereales como cebada, trigo, centeno y maíz, y su posterior añejamiento en barriles de madera, tradicionalmente de roble blanco. Hay diferentes preparaciones según el origen puede ser escoses, irlandés o Américano (estado unidense). se sitúa en 40 o 43 grados de alcohol.

♦️TEQUILA

El espíritu Mexicano en más de un sentido, el tequila se destila del corazón del agave azul. El resultado es un licor rico y sofisticado con un carácter innato de este país. la graduación alcohólica del tequila puede ir de 35 a 55%.

♦️CERVEZA

Se dice que su origen de la cerveza data de 4 mil a.C, en la zona de la Mesopotamia del Oriente Medio, es una de las bebidas alcohólicas más antiguas y populares del mundo, la cerveza se divide en tres categorías principales: cerveza dorada, cerveza roja y cerveza negra, ofreciendo una infinita variedad de experiencias gustativas para ser descubiertas y disfrutadas.tiene aproximadamente 5% de alcohol varía algunas menos o más actualmente hay cervezas sin alcohol.

♦️Vino

El vino de origen milenario en el Antiguo Egipto (3.000 a.C.). es una bebida hecha de uva, mediante la fermentación alcohólica de su mosto o zumo. La fermentación se produce por la acción metabólica de levaduras, que transforman los azúcares naturales del fruto en etanol y gas en forma de dióxido de carbono. tiene un grado del alcohol 5 y 20 grados aproximadamente.

♦️Vodka

*Implementos para un bartender* (Tools for a bartender)

♦️. Pinzas de hielo Más allá de servir para añadir el hielo a la copa las pinzas son perfectas para aromatizar tu GinTonic. ¿Cómo? Muy sencillo, pinza un trozo de cáscara de cítricos y pásala por el borde de la copa y los hielos. ♦️. Colador Planos, con patillas, italianos o de gusanillo. Como cualquier accesorio de coctelería, te encontrarás con muchas variantes. Lo importante es que sirva para colar el agua sobrante tras enfriar la copa de tu GinTonic. Busca, compara y encuentra el tuyo ♦️. Medidor o jigger Porque la medida sí importa a la hora de preparar un GinTonic el medidor o jigger te lo pone fácil con sus dos cantidades estándar de 2cl y 4cl para dosificar. Perfecto para no pasarte de la raya. ♦️. Mortero o muddler Si quieres darle un toque aromático a tu copa elige los botánicos que quieras e introdúcelos en el mortero o muddler. Servirá para majarlos y que su esencia impregne tu copa. ♦️. Rallador Los botánicos como el regaliz, la canela, la cassia o el jengibre le darán un toque exótico a tu GinTonic. Pásalos por el rallador justo antes de degustar tu copa. ♦️. Bola infusionadora El té y el GinTonic no son opuestos. Usa la bola con infusiones para darle un color sofisticado y natural a tu copa. Triunfarás. ♦️. Tabla para corte En coctelería la tabla es un básico para cortar las frutas y los elementos que quieras añadir a tu GinTonic. Elígela siempre antideslizante. ♦️. Acanalador de cítricos o Zester El accesorio perfecto para ponerle flecos a tu GinTonic. El acanalador extrae finas tiras de cáscara de lima, limón, naranja o pomelo. Elige tu cítrico favorito y decora tu copa. ♦️. Pelador de cítricos Si en vez de florituras prefieres que se note la cáscara del cítrico, tu accesorio ideal es el pelador. ♦️. Cuchara Lisa o rizada, la cuchara es tu aliada. Un clásico en mixología para mezclar los ingredientes. Muchos bartenders la utilizan además para conservar la burbuja de la tónica. ¿Rito o mito?.

*Cristalería de Bar*

♦️.Copas de vino para vino tinto, blanco y oporto, también se pueden usar copas para el agua. ♦️.Copas de champagne (champaña) son las copas tipo flauta. ♦️.Vasos de cerveza estos vasos van desde los tarros tipo alemán hasta los vasos tipo pinta que se utilizan en los pubs. ♦️.Vasos y copas para cocteles: aquí hay toda una colección, desde los vasos largos, las peceras, los vasos en las rocas, entre otros. ♦️.Cristalería para bebidas de especialidad esta cristalería se diseña para bebidas especiales, como el caso de la margarita, que es una copa hecha especialmente para la bebida. ♦️.Whisky y bourbon: es una copa, parecida a la del Jerez, que permite impregnar la nariz de las sensaciones aromáticas. Pocos bares utilizan este tipo de cristalería tan especializada. 6-Shots: vaso pequeño, normalmente de 1-2 oz, que se utiliza para tomar licor de manera directa. En México también se conocen como vasos tequileros. ♦️.Cristalería tipo liqueur: son vasos y copas especializadas, para bebidas calientes como el cappuccino irlandés, o bebidas especiales como las malteadas. 8-Cristalería estética o temática: son vasos especializados, con diseños muy particulares, como el caso de la coctelería tiki, el mason jar, u otros tarros y cristalería de diseñador. Esto permite que el cliente distinga bebidas muy especiales o el estilo de un bar.
