I have not been there for some couple of days for some special reasons stated below.

It's my first time writing a post to specially ask for support.

Reasons.

On of the elders walked up to me with uncertainty written all over his face he said...

"Aunty we no get where we dey sleep you fit help us with mat"?

It simply means aunty can you provide us with sleeping mats.

My heart really melted understanding that there is no bed to lay their heads at night and that automatically means lack of warmth.

Then I asked him, why asking for a mat why not from.

He replied where they lay the roof is leaking, and they would really prefer a rubber mat rather than foams because it's easier with a mat than it is with foam especially during this rainy season. Even if it gets soaked, they can easily sundry it.

It dawned on me that providing a place to lay on is very important especially for warmth at night.

For this reason I have not been there. I want to make an impact by providing them with shelter (a mat) instead of meal all-time.

All proceeds will be used to get the mats. I believe we can together provide a place to lay their heads at night.

I have done the estimation of number of mat needed and the pricing. Prices in naira and dollar. (for 100 mats, ranging from small to the biggest sizes)

This is what a mat look like for those who don't have an idea...

Mats comes in different sizes from small medium to big.

Small Mat price is... #1,300 × 20 = #26,000

($ 74)

Medium Mat price is... #2,500 × 40 = #100,000

($ 286)

The Biggest Mat size is... #3,500 × 30 = #105,000.

($ 300)

Total prices.

26,000 + 100,000 + 105,000 = # 231,000

($ 661 )
