Traditional music of the Philippines consist of Gong music was then split on the region into gangsa and bossed gongs and the Harana and the Kundiman poetic songs which reminds the islands of the Spanish era. Another traditional music is the Rondalla which was performed in Philippines where mandolins and guitars are used. Along with it is the Tinikling and Carinosa played in music dance form.

Soon the Philippine rock climbed the American charts.

The Teatro Comico in manila built in 1970 and the Arroceros theatre neighboring the Mehan garden for performing Philippine plays were few of other common Filipino theatres in the history of Filipino Music.
