Introduction to the community

I've been registered on this platform for quite some time now, although I did it initially on Steem, when I entered and researched about the project and I understood about the fork in the chain from Steem to Hive, although I won't go into that subject since of course it's my introduction to the community and I don't find it fun to highlight, however, I'm very happy to be here and introduce myself to all of you so that you can get to know me and know much more about me and of course get to know many more people in this great 'project, so without waiting much longer, here I go.

Who am I? My name is Ofelia Margarita, I'm 50 years old, although it might seem many, really not so many haha, I feel very good physically and mentally and with the desire to continue growing as a person of course, do good and not look at who, I am from Venezuela, I have 2 beautiful children already grown up and independent, they are entrepreneurs and the most important thing for me. According to this, I really like to go out, walk and travel, currently I am only at home, of course finding ourselves in this quarantine there is not much to do, so for this reason I finally decided to introduce myself to the community of Hive.

To know more about me, I will be telling you in detail in future publications, I have not decided yet what kind of content I will share on the platform, I certainly like many things, such as reading, literature, finance, great fiction and drama stories, So I have a lot of arsenal to present to you in the future and why I can't decide for which niche to publish exactly in which I can help more people or simply share great stories of readings I've done or knowledge I have of an arsenal of books read, so be aware, because I will plan for it.

How did I know about the world of cryptocurrencys?

As I said before, I like to read a lot and a couple of years ago in the Bull run of 2017 of the cryptocurrencys, was that I knew the crypto environment, in addition to this my son also told me that he was studying autodidactly about cryptocurrencys and the blockchain and although I did not pay attention to him at first, since I thought that they were talking to me in Chinese there was that I heard it for the first time.

I'm not very specialized in the subject, the truth usually becomes somewhat complex for me, but the handling of the basics that must be known at least to transfer, receive and store money I can do it perfectly, and in the environment of speculation or exchange, my son is responsible for these operations, however, I know well the risks inherent in the Wallets, what are my public keys, private, what types of wallets exist as the cold and hot and I hope to continue learning even more, as it is really interesting.

First I met STEEM of course, in fact, my account was created first in this blockchain, at that time I thought to start sharing content on this platform, however, for very personal issues I could not do it, recently with the issue of COVID-19 and the quarantine, not being able to leave, I was researching on the Internet and I could see the new acquisition of Justin Sun of Steemit inc. The community and the reaction of this to the actions of Sun of wanting to centralize the ecosystem I did not like at all, in such sense I decided to investigate more on this new Hard Fork and I found out that all those who had account in Steem also had it in HIVE, this way I got my private keys and I encouraged myself to share content and this is my first post, of course I plan to share, besides trying and knowing many people.

What can I expect from HIVE?

The truth is that when I see the power of decision and union of the community, I expect a lot of good things in the short, medium and long term. I had never seen how a community would respond to the problems and everything that happened with Justin. In fact, I am really surprised how the price has gone up exponentially these last few days and HIVE is in everyone's eyes right now, a unique opportunity to be noticed, something that has been done by the excellent community leaders and of course all of us who make life in the ecosystem, a lot of good news in a few days, like the listing in Huobi and the recent one in Binance.

I'm very excited and I want to grow in the platform, it's a very good way to share any kind of content, to meet new people, to educate yourself with such good posts that you can get in the topics that you like and in addition you can earn a reward for it, in addition to this the innumerable applications that I have seen, although I don't know any haha closely, I would have to check and investigate, although it sounds a lot and is in the mouth of a whole call @splinterlands that is about some cards and monsters, but it looks really interesting.
