Hi! Greetings to all the Hive platform. My name is Eleazar "Lazar" and I born and raised in Caracas. I work with juggling and music, that allowed to me know a lot of places from very young. Im here to create an album with my art projects and to you everyone can see a part of my travels in my music and videos. In them I leave my experiences and knowledge shared with many people, ideas, images and messages that have been part of my paths.

Hola comunidad! Es un placer para mi presentarme en esta plataforma. Mi nombre es Eleazar "Lazar" y nací y crecí en Caracas, Venezuela. Me dedico al malabarismo y la música, lo que desde muy joven me ha permitido viajar por muchos lugares. Me gustaria usar esta plataforma online para tener un registro de mis proyectos de arte, al mismo tiempo compartirlo con todos y que puedan ver una parte de mis viajes a traves de mi musica y mis videos. En ellos dejo mis experiencias y conocimientos compartidos con mucha gente, ideas, imagenes y mensajes que han formado parte de mis caminos.

Since I was a child, it was common for me to travel with family members to different parts of my country, to know different types of music and lifestyles.

Desde niño fue común para mi viajar junto a familiares por distintos sitios de mi país, conocer distintos tipos de música y estilos de vida.

Knowing the art of music and the art of juggling and the possibility that they offered me to continue travel to more places, I made my first trip by land in 2007 to the north of Colombia and after working and with the help of many people, I was able to go by plane to Bolivia in 2008. These two experiences left in me the mark of the traveler, and with the discovery of street art, opened a world of possibilities for me.

Al conocer el arte de la musica y los malabares y la posibilidad que estos me ofrecian de seguir conociendo más lugares, hice mi primer viaje por tierra en el año 2007 al norte de Colombia y luego de trabajar y con la ayuda de muchas personas, pude ir en avión a Bolivia en el año 2008. Estas dos experiencias dejaron en mi la marca del viajero, que junto al descubrimiento del arte callejero, me abrieron un mundo de posibilidades.

After that I began to study Performing Arts at the National School of Circus and Sociology at the Central University of Venezuela with the intention of working on social projects related to art, taking any opportunity I had to travel to different places in Venezuela.

Despues de eso comencé a estudiar Artes Escénicas en la Escuela Nacional de Circo y Sociologia en la Universidad Central de Venezuela con la intención de trabajar en proyectos sociales relacionados al arte, aprovechando cada oportunidad que tenia para viajar a distintos lugares de Venezuela.

En el año 2011 visité a mi madre, que vivía en Escocia para ese momento y aproveché la oportunidad de conocer algunas ciudades de Inglaterra también.

Counting on arts as a working tool opened possibilities for me to reach places that I never even imagined could exist, I met people whose realities were beyond my understanding and I faced situations that thanks to being a musician, juggler and traveler allowed to overcome. I started singing rap music on buses and subways, recounting my travel experiences, juggling at traffic lights, playing music on boulevards and bars, to raise money to continue traveling. In 2014 I traveled from Costa Rica to Guatemala by land, on this trip I was able to visit many cities between Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador. See the reality of migrants, the unequal living conditions suffered by millions at the cost of the enrichment of a few, the class and unfairness of political borders and at the same time the millions of ingenious ways we have to overcome them and be able to look for our happiness and wellness.

Contar con el arte como una herramienta de trabajo, me abrió posibilidades para llegar a lugares que nunca ni imaginé que podian existir, conocí personas cuyas realidades iban más allá de mi comprensión y me enfrenté a situaciones que gracias a ser músico, malabarista y viajero me permitieron superar. Comencé a cantar música rap en los autobuses y metros contando mis experiencias de viaje, a hacer malabares en los semáforos, tocar música en los bulevares y bares, buscando reunir dinero para seguir viajando. En el año 2014 viajé desde Costa Rica hasta Guatemala por tierra, en este viaje pude conocer muchas ciudades entre Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala y el Salvador. Ver la realidad de las personas migrantes, las condiciones de vida desiguales que sufren millones a costa del enriquecimiento de pocos, lo clasistas e injustas de las fronteras políticas y al mismo tiempo las millones de formas ingeniosas que tenemos para superarlas y poder buscar nuestra felicidad y bienestar.

With this trip through Central America I felt that I had enough experience and confidence to realize the dream of making the route from Caracas to Buenos Aires crossing as many South American countries as possible. For a long time I was excited about the idea of doing it. In 2016 the death of my father marked me a lot, I interrupted my studies, I prepared a travel bag, my musical instrument and my jugglings. To this day I have never returned home and even the word "home" changed its meaning. The idea was to go through Colombia, but the border crisis made Brazil a better way, as well as the opportunity to learn a new language. I also discovered that Brazil is a continent of cultures, each region has its own traditional music, different artistic expressions, so many that they meant for me the awakening of many artistic aspirations and inspirations. Wanting to learn different musical instruments, learning to dance different rhythms, getting to know so many forms of art, without a doubt, marked a lot of who I am today. Also in Brazil I met who is today my life partner and with whom I have started many artistic projects together.

Con este viaje por Centroamérica sentí haber ganado suficiente experiencia y confianza para cumplir el sueño de hacer la ruta de Caracas hasta Buenos Aires cruzando la mayor cantidad de paises de suramérica posible, durante mucho tiempo me emocionaba la idea de hacerlo. En el 2016 la muerte de mi padre marcó en mi mucho, interrumpí mis estudios, preparé un bolso de viaje, mi cuatro venezolano y mis malabares. Hasta el dia de hoy nunca volví a casa e incluso la palabra "casa" cambió su significado. Aunque la idea principal era ir por Colombia, la crisis fronteriza hacía de Brasil un mejor camino, además de la oportunidad de aprender un nuevo idioma. Descubrí también que Brasil es un continente de culturas, cada región tiene sus propias músicas tradicionales, distintas expresiones artísticas, tantas que significaron para mi el despertar de muchas aspiraciones e inspiraciones artísticas. Querer aprender distintos instrumentos musicales, aprender a bailar distintos ritmos, conocer de tantas formas de arte sin duda marcaron mucho quien soy hoy. También en Brasil conocí a quien es hoy mi compañera de vida y con quien he iniciado muchos proyectos artísticos en conjunto.

But there were many more small cities in which many people offered their big support, asking questions and enjoying the reality that I presented to them through street art. Together with my partner we also went to Argentina for two years, we lived together in Córdoba, we got to know Buenos Aires and when I realized that this was not the end of my trip, we went together to Uruguay, we got to know the interior of the country and returned to Cordoba with the plan that we now carry out together in Catalonia, taking the step together of traveling to another continent together with art in all our projects. >

Durante cuatro años pude conocer grandes ciudades de Brasil como Salvador,Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Brasilia, Manaus, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Minas Gerais. Pero fueron muchas más las pequeñas ciudades en las que muchisima gente brindaba su apoyo, hacia preguntas y disfrutaba de la realidad que yo les presentaba a traves del arte callejero. Junto a mi compañera también fuimos dos años a Argentina, vivimos juntos en Córdoba, conocimos Buenos Aires y cuando me di cuenta que este no era el fin de mi viaje, nos fuimos juntos a Uruguay, conocimos el interior del país y volvimos a Cordoba con el plan que ahora juntos cumplimos en Cataluña, dando el paso juntos de viajar a otro continente de la mano del arte en todos nuestros proyectos.
