ENGLISCH VERSION BELOW :-D Guten Morgen Steemians, anlässlich des gestrigen Tages möchte ich heute ein bisschen über Social Media philosophieren.

Wie ich Social Media empfinde:

Social Media ist ein Phänomen der Neuzeit und etwas für mich manchmal ungreifbares und ebenso meiner Meinung nach wie das Yin und Yang des Internets. - Wir verbinden uns mit Menschen mit denen wir sonst nie hätten Kontakt aufnehmen können. - Wir teilen unsere Geschichten und lesen die Geschichten anderer. - Wir lassen uns gegenseitig inspirieren, folgen, entfolgen, liken und kommentieren. - Wir zeigen unsere Fotos, Videos und schreiben über unsere Meinung. - Wir nehmen an Challenges teil, verbinden uns in Gruppen und fangen an uns wohlzufühlen. - Wir finden Gleichgesinnte, Seelenverwandte und verlieren uns in Gespräche. - Wir unterstützen uns gegenseitig und wachsen gemeinsam. ![IMG_6045.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmW4iR2YG4nuNqXAtfnFdwBgb52LoxdvL6BDNKTstw2zD9/IMG_6045.jpg) Doch Social Media ist auch das: - Wir werden kritisiert, kritisieren vielleicht selbst und geben manchmal möglicherweise einen Daumen nach unten. - Wir nutzen Plattformen um uns selbst, unsere Produkte, unsere Dienstleistung und unsere Meinung zu vertreten und zu vermarkten. - Wir werden ausgenutzt und lassen uns ausnutzen von denen die sich und ihre Dienstleistungen und Produkte über uns vermarkten oder an uns verkaufen. - Wir werden ausgegrenzt, grenzen vielleicht selber aus und fangen an uns unwohl zu fühlen. - Wir leben nicht mehr nur noch in der "Realität" sondern erschaffen uns weitere Scheinrealitäten im Internet - Wir lassen uns gerne manchmal durch Social Media ablenken und wenn wir nicht aufpassen verlieren wir uns darin Social Media ist das, was wir draus machen. Das, was wir selbst zulassen und wofür wir uns entscheiden, was es für uns sein soll.

Für mich ist Social Media etwas unfassbar wertvolles.

- Ich habe Freunde gefunden, die meine Interessen teilen. - Ich habe Gefährten gefunden die sich mit gleichen Thematiken beschäftigen. - Ich konnte mich selbst weiterentwickeln und bin enorm an mir gewachsen. - Ich habe neue Kulturen, Menschen und Möglichkeiten kennengelernt. - Ich hab durch Social Media aber auch Aufträge bekommen, Geld verdient und meine Leistung verbessert. - Ich habe Plattformen entdeckt, wo ich mich und meine Kreativität ausleben kann. Und obwohl ich ne Menge positives erlebt habe war es doch so, dass sich mit der Zeit vieles gewandelt hat. Insbesondere werden einige Plattformen mittlerweile leider viel zu häufig dafür genutzt vorrangig und um jeden Preis Geld damit zu verdienen. Es wird Leuten gefolgt, die potentielle Kunden sein können und denen man was verkaufen möchte. Ein Follow, ein Abo, oder ein Like sind häufig gar nichts mehr wert und sagen auch gar nichts mehr aus. Vor allem: der Inhalt rückt in den Hintergrund und die Wertschätzung scheint auf halber Strecke liegen zu bleiben. Diese Entwicklung finde ich extrem schade! Ich bin nicht unrealistisch und weiß freilich auch, man muss von etwas leben und es ist wichtig sich gut zu vermarkten und zu verkaufen – doch wenn häufig mit Followern Ping Pong gespielt wird ... was ist das für eine Entwicklung? Und soll ich euch was sagen: Ich grenze mich NICHT komplett von diesem Verhalten davon aus. Denn ehrlicherweise: Auch ich habe damit herumexperimentiert. Gefolgt, entfolgt und bin durchs Netz gesprungen wie ein Känguruh. Weil ich irgendwann mal aufgegriffen habe – das macht man so – um wirklich erfolgreich zu werden. Doch ich habe sehr schnell zwei Dinge gelernt: 1.) Was bin ich, wenn es mir bei all meinen Inhalten nur ums Geld und den schnellen Erfolg geht und was macht es mit mir und meinen Inhalten? 2.) Warum der gestrige Bandbreitenlimit mein Social Media Verständnis verändert hat

Dadurch, dass meine Social Media Erlebnisse in der Vergangenheit ein wenig getrübt wurden bin ich nun umso erstaunter, dass ich hier auf Steemit ganz gegenteilige Sachen erlebe. Ich weiß, auch Steemit hat seine Spammer und seine Leute die folgen um des folgens willen und schreiben um des Steemdollars willen.

Doch da war dieser Moment.

Als ich meinen gestrigen Artikel fertig geschrieben habe und ihn nicht veröffentlichen konnte. Als ich keinerlei Aktionen mehr auf steemit durchführen konnte. Als ich über 7 Stunden wegen limitierter Bandbreite jegliche Steemit Aktivität einstellen musste ... Dieser Moment, als ich mich Hilfesuchend im deutschen Discordchat (https://discord.gg/3kcG4Tj) gemeldet habe und gemerkt habe: Hier ist unter all den Steemians eine Gemeinschaft zu finden die sich gegenseitig unterstützt, unter die Arme greift und fast schneller reagiert als Lichtgeschwindigkeit. Als ich dann nach langer Zeit des Wartens meinen Post endlich veröffentlichen konnte hat mich der Vorfall folgendes gelehrt: - Gute Inhalte zu verfassen und zu wissen, dass es da draußen Menschen gibt, die sie lesen ist weitaus mehr Wert als jeder Steem den man verdient. - Kommentare zu bekommen von Menschen die sich wirklich für seinen Content interessieren und mit denen man vielleicht sogar in Diskussion oder Zusammenarbeit treten kann macht glücklicher als jeder neue Follower von dem nach dem Follow nur noch ein Geist in Form einer +1 der eigenen Followerzahl zu bleiben scheint - Eine Community zu haben, die füreinander da ist, die sofort Antworten auf Fragen weiß und einen Möglichkeiten gibt weiter zu wachsen ist sowieso unbezahlbar!

Einfach mal Danke sagen

An dieser Stelle möchte ich mich Herzlichst dafür bedanken, dass ich 100 SP für einen Monat benutzen kann um ohne Bandbreitenlimit Content zu veröffentlichen. - Ein großes Danke an das Team, die diese Möglichkeit geschaffen hat. (@alexvan, @flurgx, @jedigeiss, @theaustrianguy, @uwelang) (wenn ich je etwas für euch tun kann tu ich es!) - Ein Danke an alle die die Community sinnvoll nutzen und sie wertvoller machen. - An alle, die Folgen voten und kommentiert weil sie sich wirklich mit der Person und dem Inhalt beschäftigen. - An alle, die qualitativ hochwertigen Inhalt produzieren und Wissen, Erfahrungen, Geschichten teilen und Inspiration sind ♥ - An alle Entwickler die solche Plattformen überhaupt erschaffen. Machen wir also das beste draus und freuen wir uns darüber, dass sich die Welt weiterdreht :-D Habt einen fabelhaften Tag ♥ Anmerkungen: Ich benutze die Wir Form in meinem Text ohne dass ich in jedem Fall immer alle die Social Media nutzen anspreche. Jeder kann für sich selbst entscheiden ob er sich in einer Sparte wiederfindet oder nicht ;-). Es sind nur Gedanken ... Ich möchte NICHT sagen, das es verkehrt ist im Netz auf sich und seinen Content aufmerksam zu machen und für sich zu "werben". Lediglich ist eine gewisse Balance - wie überall gut. How I feel about social media:

social media is a phenomenon of modern times and something for me sometimes intangible and as well in my opinion as the yin and yang of the internet. - We connect with people we would never have been able to contact. - We share our stories and read the stories of others. - We inspire, follow, like, and comment on each other. - We show our photos, videos and write about our opinion. - We participate in challenges, connect in groups and start to feel comfortable. - We find like-minded people, soulmates and lose ourselves in conversation. - We support each other and grow together. ![IMG_6045.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmW4iR2YG4nuNqXAtfnFdwBgb52LoxdvL6BDNKTstw2zD9/IMG_6045.jpg) But social media is also that: - We are being criticized, perhaps even criticize ourselves and sometimes give a thumbs down. - We use platforms to represent and market ourselves, our products, our service, and our opinions. - We are exploited and take advantage of those who market themselves or their services and products through us or sell to us. - We are marginalized, perhaps even exclude ourselves and start to feel uncomfortable. - We no longer live only in the 'reality' but create other pseudo realities on the Internet - We like to be distracted sometimes by social media and if we are not careful we lose ourselves in it Social Media is what we make out of it. That which we allow ourselves and what we decide for ourselves, what it should be for us.

For me, social media is something incredibly valuable.

- I found friends who share my interests. - I have found companions who deal with the same topics. - I have been able to develop myself and have grown enormously with myself. - I got to know new cultures, people and opportunities. - I also got orders through social media, earned money and improved my performance. - I've discovered platforms where I can live my and my creativity. And although I have experienced a lot of positive things, it has changed so much over time. In particular, some platforms are now unfortunately too often used for priority and at any price to earn money with it. It is followed by people who can be potential customers and who you want to sell something to. A follow, a subscription, or a like are often worth nothing and say nothing at all. Above all, the content moves into the background and the appreciation seems to be halfway. This development I find extremely pity! I'm not unrealistic and of course I know that you have to live on something and it's important to market and sell well - but when ping pong is often played with followers ... what's the point of development? And should I tell you something: I DO NOT completely limit myself from this behavior. Because honestly: I too have experimented with it. Followed, unfollowed and jumped through the net like a kangaroo. Because at some point I picked it up - that's what you do - to become really successful. But I quickly learned two things: 1.) What am I, when I'm all about my content only about the money and the quick success and what does it makes with me and my content? 2.) Why yesterday's bandwidth limit has changed my social media understanding

The fact that my social media experiences in the past have been a little clouded, I'm now all the more astonished that I experience here on Steemit very opposite things. I know Steemit too has his spammers and his people following and writing for the sake of the following, for the sake of the Steemdollars.

But there was this moment.

When I finished my yesterday's article and could not publish it. When I could no longer perform any actions on steemit. When I had to stop over 7 hours due to limited bandwidth any Steemit activity ... This moment, when I have registered for help seeking in the German Discordchat (https://discord.gg/3kcG4Tj) and have noticed: Here is among all the Steemians to find a community that supports each other, supports and reacts almost faster than the speed of light. When I was finally able to publish my post after a long wait, the incident taught me the following: - Writing good content and knowing that there are people out there who read them is far more valuable than any Steem d en you deserve. - To get comments from people who are really interested in his content and with whom you may even be in discussion or cooperation can make happier than any new follower of the after follow only a spirit in the form of a +1 of your followers to stay - seems to have a community that is there for each other, who immediately knows answers to questions and gives you the opportunity to grow further is priceless anyway!

Just say thank you

Notes: I use the We form in my text without me in any case, always the Use social media appeal. Everyone can decide for themselves if he finds himself in a division or not ;-). It's just thoughts ... I DO NOT want to say that it's wrong to be on the net and to make your content aware and to 'advertise' for yourself. Only a certain balance - as everywhere good. Take care of your content and your followers who are interested in you seriously - that's the only thing I really want ;-)
