Los haikus son poemas muy cortos, refieren al asombro ante la naturualeza o la vida cotidiana. Su origen se remonta al sentimiento de los antiguos japoneses ante lo que ocurre en la naturaleza. La brevedad de las palabras obliga al poeta a signifivar mucho con pocass palabras.

Haikus are very short poems, referring to wonder at nature or everyday life. Their origin goes back to the feeling of the ancient Japanese for what happens in nature. The brevity of the words forces the poet to mean a lot with few words.
