# Filosofía moderna: Una ayuda a la autoayuda. Modern philosophy: An aid to self-help.

En el post anterior hablamos acerca de los orígenes de los “consejos” los definimos como una clase de conocimiento práctico o no que tiene como objetivo prepararte para una experiencia por lo general no vivida. El consejo parte del fundamento que debe ser dado por alguien de mayor experiencia en el área.

Desde Aristóteles, hasta Nietzsche, muchos han tratado de recomendarnos como enfrentar la vida. Siendo muy simplistas podemos afirmar que la filosofía es la mama o por lo menos la madrastra de la Autoayuda. Aunque esta afirmación es muy fácil de desmontar, vamos a explorar conceptos antes de lanzarnos de cabeza en este asunto.

Los libros de autoayuda pueden ofrecerle una solución temporal a alguien mas no una solución fundamental que sirva para generar una herramienta desde la cual cambiar la perspectiva hacia un problema. Su principal error es ofrecer una visión reduccionista del mundo y de los factores que conllevan un problema y por lo tanto la solución.

Los mensajes reduccionistas son dañinos por no entender el abanico de elementos que llevan a alguien hacia una mejora. En sí mismo la autoayuda y cualquier libro no son malos, son un producto, que como todo producto busca cubrir una necesidad y en un mundo con tantas dificultades una solución “fácil” puede ser bastante rentable, esto explicaría porque algunos autores sacan libros más de 1 vez al año de básicamente el mismo tema.

La duda es el elemento fundamental donde nace el conocimiento. El pensamiento racional nos emancipa, o como diría Kant, nos da la mayoría de edad intelectual. Siendo así, independientes de pensamiento.
