She was Angela but she liked to be called Angelita. According to her, she said she lived up to her name. She always smiled at everyone and appeared to be the nicest person on the farm, but although almost everyone believed her, many of us could smell her hypocrisy from miles away.

When the supervisors were present, he acted as if he went out of his way for the animals and especially for “Guito” who was the oldest goose on the farm and very much loved by everyone since he looked more like a cat or a dog than a goose because of how demonstrative he was.

She did not like animals at all, in fact she looked at them with disgust when no one was watching and treated them with contempt. However, the pay on the farm was extremely good as there were high-end and very expensive animals. And since she liked to live a life of luxury, she had no choice but to work there.

One afternoon, she and Elizabeth (a girl who was really loving with the animals) were in charge of closing the cages; but the next day all the animals woke up outside the farm.

When the supervisor asked who had been at fault, Angel without a second thought blamed Elizabeth. But as they say “Actions speak louder than words” And while she only blamed Elizabeth, Elizabeth just ran desperately to look for all the animals with the help of those of us who were there, and at the end of the afternoon she arrived with Guito.

Ella era Ángela pero le gustaba que le dijeran Angelita. Según ella, decía que le hacía honor a su nombre. Siempre le sonreía a todos y aparentaba ser la más amable de la granja, pero aunque casi todos le creían, muchos de nosotras podíamos oler su hipocresía a kilómetros de distancia.

Cuando los supervisores estaban presentes, actuaba como si se desviviera por los animales y en especial por “Guito” que era el ganso más antiguo de la granja y muy querido por todos ya que más que un ganso parecía un gato o un perro por lo demosticado que estaba.

A ella no le gustaban para nada los animales, de hecho los miraba con asco cuando nadie la veía y los trataba con desprecio. Sin embargo, la paga en la granja era extremadamente buena ya que habían animales de alta gama y muy caros. Y como a ella le gustaba darse una vida de lujos pues lógicamente no tenía otra opción que trabajar ahí.

Una tarde, ella y Elizabeth (Una chica que sí era realmente amorosa con los animales) eran las encargadas de cerrar las jaulas; pero al día siguiente todos los animales amanecieron fuera de la granja.

Cuando el supervisor preguntó quién había sido la culpable, Ángel sin pensarlo dos veces le echó la culpa a Elizabeth. Pero como dicen por ahí “Las acciones hablan más que mil palabras” Y mientras ella sólo culpaba a Elizabeth, esta sólo corrió desesperadamente a buscar a todos los animales con ayuda de quienes estábamos ahí, y al final de la tarde llegó con Guito.

Después del susto y el ajetreo, los supervisores tomaron la decisión de despedir a Ángela porque un problema no se resuelve culpando a otros sino buscando la solución.
