Mi vida universitaria

      Hola, comunidad, gusto en saludarles y gracias por esta bonita iniciativa de compartir nuestras vidas como estudiantes. Esa etapa de nuestra vida que para muchos nos ha resultado de satisfacción y de bonitos recuerdos.
      Hoy quiero hablar de mi vida universitaria, porque fue la etapa de estudiante que más disfruté, donde socialicé más y donde aprendí muchas cosas. Tuve unos compañeros bastante fieles, yo fui muy selectiva con mis compañeros y por supuesto, mayor aún, con mis amigos.
      Estando en bachillerato, anhelaba culminar rápido dicha etapa porque no sentía que encajaba con mis compañeros, había mucha inmadurez y no había una meta mayor que solo graduarme y salir de allí. Apenas terminé la última evaluación, dejé de ir, pues solo esperaba la entrega del título para poder ir a inscribirme a la universidad. De esa manera resultó y, llegado el momento, me inscribí con la carrera Ingeniería en Informática en la UPTP "Juan de Jesús Montilla".

Un día que no recuerdo por qué nos fuimos más temprano.

Cuando inicié el curso introductorio, tuve dos compañeras con las cuales tuve mejor acercamiento e hicimos grupo de trabajo, una ya era de unos treinta y tantos años con dos hijos y una de 18 años. Al poco tiempo dejaron de estudiar y tuve que buscar otro compañero, e hicimos muy buen equipo de trabajo, pues se trataba de un líder inteligente y yo una líder natural, vocera del profesor en materia, que me dio la labor de dirigir todos los proyectos. Esto se hizo posible porque detrás de mi imagen estaba mi compañero, llamado Javier, quien con sus ideas y manejo de las situaciones pudimos concluir un óptimo trabajo. Esa entrada a la universidad me hizo confirmar que era allí donde quería estar.

Luego tuve otros compañeros con quienes hice proyecto. Eran tres varones y yo los dirigía de manera estricta para que hicieran los trabajos. Solo duramos un año escolar trabajando juntos, pues cada uno hizo cambio de carreras y horarios. Al año siguiente, hago grupo con otros dos compañeros y con ellos me siento muy motivada por el lado amistoso, sin embargo, casi nos dividimos al realizar proyecto porque yo quería una comunidad y ellos otra. Finalmente, ellos decidieron ir conmigo a la comunidad que yo proponía jejeje. Y nos llamábamos el equipo EVE por las siglas de nuestros nombres (Efraín, Víctor y Elisa). Al tiempo, se unió otro compañero que nos caía súper bien (Se llama Moisés; así que, el nombre cambió a EVEM). El proyecto que desarrollábamos era de Inscripción de estudiantes para el Departamento de Secretaría de la UNEFA.

Más adelante,otro grupo que había quedado sin comunidad donde hacer proyecto, quisieron unirse a nuestra comunidad, pero tuvieron su aceptación en el Departamento de Académico. Eso fue muy bueno porque pudimos trabajar con un equipo más maduro en la programación, cosa que para nosotros aún era una debilidad. Finalizamos, entonces, nuestro segundo año académico, y todo salió súper bien.

Para el tercer año, eramos un solo equipo, pero con áreas más complejas que desarrollar. Pues hubo la necesidad de enlazar ambos Departamentos para la gestión de la Inscripción, donde se debía involucrar tanto a los estudiantes, como a los Docentes y Coordinadores. Del mismo modo, en el cuarto año, continuamos el mismo Proyecto, pero incluyendo la transacción de horarios estudiantiles, cosa que nos llevó bastante trabajo.

Sinceramente, esa etapa fue ardua, pero me dejó muy buenos aprendizajes. No olvido que con mis compañeros discutía, jugaba, hasta inauguramos un caney jugando ping- pong, "la vieja", "el zorro y la gallina", ya después toda la universidad nos copió la idea. También obtuve una beca trabajo y prácticamente no salía de la universidad hasta la noche, pues en la mañana trabajaba, en la tarde estudiaba y en la noche nos quedábamos haciendo algún trabajo o buscando asesorías de algunos buenos profesores nocturnos. Para completar, a veces nos íbamos todos a casa de un compañero para trabajar en red. En mis últimos dos años, prácticamente visitaba a mi familia y vivía con mis amigos jajaja y, cuando llegó el momento de la Defensa de Proyecto, al regresar a casa, dormí hasta 18 horas por tantas horas de trasnochos previas a ese día.

Bueno, comunidad, gracias por leerme... Esto es parte de mi experiencia en la universidad.

My university life

      Hello, community, I am pleased to greet you and thank you for this beautiful initiative to share our life as students. That stage of our life that for many of us has been a time of satisfactions and beautiful memories.
      Today I want to talk about my university life, because it was the stage of student life that I enjoyed the most, where I socialized the most and where I learned many things. I had very loyal classmates, I was very selective with my classmates and of course, even more so, with my friends.
      Being in high school, I longed to finish that stage quickly because I didn't feel that I fit in with my classmates, there was a lot of immaturity and there was no greater goal than graduating and getting out of there. As soon as I finished the last evaluation, I stopped going, because I was just waiting for them to give me the diploma to enroll in college. So I did, and when the time came, I enrolled in the Computer Engineering program at the UPTP "Juan de Jesús Montilla".

When I started the initiation course, I had two classmates with whom I got along better and we made a working group, one was already in his thirties with two children and the other was 18 years old. Soon after, they stopped studying and I had to look for another partner, and we made a very good working team, because he was an intelligent leader and I was a natural leader, spokesperson for the teacher, who gave me the task of directing all the projects. This was possible because behind my image was my partner, named Javier, who with his ideas and management of situations we were able to conclude an excellent job. That entry into the university made me confirm that that was where I wanted to be.

Then I had other colleagues with whom I did a project. There were three boys and I strictly directed them to do the work. We only lasted one school year working together, because everyone changed careers and schedules. The following year, I made a group with two other classmates and with them I was very motivated by the friendly side, however, we almost split up doing the project because I wanted one community and they wanted another. In the end they decided to go with me to the community I proposed hehehe. And we called ourselves the EVE team by the acronyms of our names (Efrain, Victor and Elisa). After a while, we were joined by another teammate that we liked very much (his name is Moisés; so the name became EVEM). The project we were developing was the registration of students for the UNEFA Secretariat.

Later, another group that had been left without a community to do a project in, wanted to join our community, but they were accepted by the Academic Department. This was very good because we were able to work with a more mature team in programming, which was still a weak point for us. So we finished our second academic year, and everything went very well.

By the third year, we were a single team, but with more complex areas to develop. It was necessary to link both Departments for enrollment management, in which we had to involve students, teachers and coordinators. In addition, in the fourth year, we continued with the same project, but including the processing of student schedules, which took a lot of work.

Honestly, that stage was hard, but I learned a lot. I do not forget that with my classmates we discussed, we played, we even inaugurated a caney playing ping-pong, "la vieja", "el zorro y la gallina", and later the whole university copied the idea. They also gave me a scholarship to work and I practically did not leave the university until the evening, because in the morning I worked, in the afternoon I studied and at night we stayed doing some work or seeking advice from some good night professors. We also went almost every day to a colleague's house to work connected to a local network. In my last two years, I practically visited my family and lived with my friends hahaha and, when it was time for the Project Defense, when I returned home, I slept up to 18 hours because of so many late nights before that day.
