Soy fisioterapeuta especializado en rehabilitación física y también terapeuta en medicina china, con un enfoque particular en la acupuntura. Como podrán comprender, la acupuntura china está avalada tanto por la Organización Panamericana de la Salud como por la Organización Mundial de la Salud. Esta disciplina es eficaz para tratar una amplia variedad de patologías, ya sean agudas, graves o crónicas. This dummy, a small mannequin, is designed to mark the 365 points on the human body. In addition to helping us locate acupuncture points, it also allows the patient to visually identify where he/she is experiencing pain, where he/she suffered trauma or what the pathological etiology is. This tool facilitates clearer and more effective communication between therapist and patient.* > Como método de trabajo, contamos con una herramienta muy eficaz que resulta de gran utilidad para la localización precisa de los puntos de acupuntura: el muñeco anatómico. Este muñeco, un maniquí pequeño, está diseñado para marcar los 365 puntos del cuerpo humano. Además de ayudarnos a ubicar los puntos de acupuntura, también permite al paciente identificar de manera visual dónde experimenta dolor, dónde sufrió un traumatismo o cuál es su etiología patológica. Earlier models such as 0.30x40 mm with cannula and 0.30x20 mm and 0.30x30 mm without guide tube are also available. The choice of the appropriate size depends on the patient's pathology and factors such as age (children or adults) and physical characteristics (obese or thin people). In addition, different sizes are used depending on the type of patient, whether human or animal.* > Ahora vamos a hablar sobre las agujas de acupuntura. Estas agujas se clasifican en diversas medidas, como 0.45, 0.50 y 0.85 mm, así como en tamaños específicos como 0.30x30 mm, 0.30x50 mm y 0.30x75 mm con tubo guía. También están disponibles modelos anteriores como 0.30x40 mm con cánula y 0.30x20 mm y 0.30x30 mm sin tubo guía. La elección de la medida adecuada depende de la patología del paciente y de factores como la edad (niños o adultos) y características físicas (personas obesas o delgadas).
