A few days ago, something happen to me..

I was doing my usual morning meditation and a single thought flashes before me. It was a thought that was distracting as well as disturbing. I could not get it out of my mind and stayed with me through out the day.

And that though was.... " I AM ENOUGH"

I am enough??? Why ? Why was it it so prominently noticeable.

The though suggest that I have all that I need to be fully satisfied it life. But this cannot be as I am an ambitious person.

I gave up my corporate job because I wanted more in life.

I wanted more freedom and more money and more in doing the stuff I love to do.

No more handling customer complains , handling staff issue and making sure company target is achieve.

Toying with the many questions in my mind, it slowly dawned on me that the concept of "I AM ENOUGH" means I do not need anything externally to make me happy.

I may pursue my ambition but I do not have to look at myself with inadequacy. As I look around me, I realise that I am surrounded with subliminal messages that tells me that I am not enough.

As you switch on your television cable , you will be bombarded with products and services that make you want to buy it now.

It highlight the problems and the shortcomings that you never thought about it until now.

They say , "Your skin is not white enough", "you are overweight and need to lose that extra pound", "you are not successful enough".

........You need more money to be happy.

........You need to save more time so you can do what you love.

Advertisers are witty in creating a void in your life so you that you need products to fill in that gap.

If you decide to adopt this attitude in life " I AM ENOUGH " ,What will you think will happen?

Lets put everything in context. What you think is important becomes irrelevant on your dying bed.

We get stress up everyday pursuing what we think is important. And isn't it true that we are often getting work up because of other people expectation.

Your boss constant nagging about the dateline. Your customer demanding attention for the unsatisfying service experience and etc.

How many stories have you read about people going into depression because they could not cope up with all the demands and also they felt a lost of control over their life.

So, that very thought that bloom from my quiet time is timely in my life.

"I AM ENOUGH"

This is is what it means to me. I have whatever it takes to be all I can be with what I have right now.

In my journey in growing, I have whatever it takes to be RESOURCEFUL in pursuing the knowledge and skills I need to be more, do more and have more.

Thats it. I will not allow anyone or anything to make me feel inadequate inside.

I do not want to end up on my last day still thinking I wish I have done this or that. I am going to embrace this concept and live the best day of my life every single waking hours.
