What`s the special achievement of this coin?

We believe that the high energy consumption currently generated by cryptocurrencies mining is unreasonable for several reasons:

Miners don`t care about where the energy for mining comes from.
Energy consumption is exorbitant in different parts of the world.
In some countrys there is simply not enough energy and in others it seems to be a luxury product.

For cryptocurrencies, it would be a milestone if the power required for mining is obtained from renewable energies.

The basic objectives are to evolve SunCoin to a blockchain including smartcontracts with a return on renewable energy consumption of +95% certified. Creating support and help campaigns where energy is a scarce or high need asset and SunCoin also wants to be a common currency in the payment of services, purchase of products related to renewable energies and ecological self-supply equipment.

The final objective is to swap a stable and secure network maintained only by PoS (proof-of-stake) masternodes which certify the consumption of renewable energy with a minimum +90% certificate. This step demands excluding the need for miners in the network and applying smartcontracts technology to integrate all applications and services of companies that make use of sun or possible.

Sustainability
SunCoin is high motivated to support the technological and business revolution for contributing an emission neutral distributed ledger system. The trends in renewable energy could absolutly be a foundation for a sustainable approach. But this is unpossible without awareness and moderation towards the different stakeholders.
