En esta oportunidad vengo a participar en un concurso por @brittandjosie, en la comunidad Ladies of Hive, este es Ladies of Hive Community Contest #119, ¿Cuándo fue la última vez que saliste de tu zona de confort y qué lograste?

Most of the time we stay in our comfort zone for being in that comfort, or even sometimes for fear of the new, for not wanting to lose what we have for sure, but no, we do not realize that we are losing beautiful moments, or even successes, that can change our lives, whether in professional, love or even new friendships.

La gran mayoría de las veces nos quedamos en nuestra zona confort por estar en esa comodidad, o hasta a veces por temor a lo nuevo, por no querer perder a lo que tenemos seguro, pero no, no damos cuenta que estamos perdiendo momentos hermosos, o hasta de éxitos, que podemos cambiar nuestra vida, sean en profesional, amorosas o hasta de nuevas amistades.

For my part, I did have a change from a comfort zone where I changed jobs, for me it was something better, and more profitable.

Por mi parte si tuve cambio de una zona de confort en donde cambie de trabajo, para mí fue algo mejor, y de mayor provecho.

My story begins 15 years ago, when I started working in a public entity, which was while I got my profession and got a better job, more than a job that was close to my house, it was a job with an average salary, which gave me to help my parents and cover the cost of my studies. At that time I started studying Public Accounting, since my desired career was in high demand there was no room, my dream was that when I finished that career to do a diploma and to be able to teach but at a higher level, despite another career I was not losing my dream which was teaching.

Mi historia inicia hace 15 años atrás, cuando inicie trabajando en una entidad pública, que era mientras sacaba mi profesión y conseguía un trabajo mejor, más que era un empleo que quedaba cerca de mi casa, era un trabajo con un salario medio, que me daba para ayudar a mis padres y cubrir el gastos de mis estudios. En ese tiempo inicie estudiando Contaduría Publica, ya que mi carrera deseada había mucha demanda no había cupo, mi sueño era que cuando terminara esa carrera hacer un diplomado y poder dar clases pero a nivel superior, a pesar de otra carrera no estaba perdiendo mi sueño que era la enseñanza.

I spent almost five years with a routine of working and studying, I got up, at 8:00 am I was at work, I retired at 4:00 pm, to get home to eat, bathe, change, go to the university, arrive at 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm, then get home to sleep until the next day the same, I had a routine. After I graduated, I took another career, a Master's degree in higher education, but at the same time I had the opportunity to start teaching at the same university I graduated from. Besides working in the public entity as an assistant, I taught at night, I studied my other career on weekends, it was stronger, but teaching for me was not a job because I like teaching to teach someone else, I was like that for almost three years, where I graduated, I continued teaching, and in the public entity, I could not resign from the public entity because in the university they lasted to pay, I got to teach up to 2 years more.

Pase casi cinco años con una rutina de trabajar y estudiar, me levantaba, a la 8:00 am estaba en el trabajo, me retiraba 4:00 pm, para llegar a casa comer, bañarme cambiarme irme a la universidad, llegar a la 6:00 pm hasta la 10:00 pm, luego llegar a casa dormir hasta el siguiente día los mismo, tenía una rutina. Luego que me gradué, tome otra carrera una Maestría en educación superior, pero al mismo tiempo tuve la oportunidad de iniciar a dar clases en la misma universidad que me gradué. A parte de trabajar en la entidad pública de asistente, daba clases en la noche, estudiaba mi otra carrera lo fines de semana, era más fuerte, pero dar clases para mí no era u trabajo ya que me gusta la enseñanza a enseñar a otra persona, estuve así casi por tres años, en donde me gradué, seguí dando clases, y en la entidad pública, no podía renunciar a la entidad pública porque en la universidad duraban para pagar, llegue a dar clases hasta 2 años más.

I had to stop teaching because my country was going through a bad situation where cash was scarce, besides that at that time my father was diagnosed with a tumor in the cervical, which made him become paraplegic over time, I had to live the separation of family, my mother, father and sister in another state, I had to continue working, but I had to get all the materials for his operation, since in the hospitals of this country there was not even an injector, we had to buy everything we collected and many other things more.

Tuve que dejar de dar clases porque mi país estaba pasando por una mala situación en donde el efectivo era escasos, a parte que en ese tiempo mi padre le fue detectado un tumor en la cervical, que hizo que quedara parapléjico al pasar del tiempo, tuve que vivir la separación de familia, mi madre, padre y hermana en otro estado, yo en la casa de mi familia, ya que no somos una familia adinerada, tenía que continuar trabajando, mas había que conseguir todos los materiales para su operación, ya que en los hospitales de este país no había ni una inyectadora, había que comprar todo hicimos recolecta y muchas otras cosas más.

I continued the same work that was in the meantime, I already had two careers in my life but the situation in Venezuela at that time was worse, there was no cash, the food was lost, there were queues, but why did I continue there if I did not like it? It was for not losing the little I was earning 15 and lastly, for the fear of not getting another opportunity, the situation in Venezuela plus the moment I was living, I could not leave what I had.

Yo continúe el mismo trabajo que era mientras tanto, ya tenía dos carrera en mi vida pero la situación de Venezuela en ese tiempo era peor, no había efectivo, la comida se había perdido, se hacían colas, pero porque continuaba ahí si ya no me gustaba? Era por no perder lo poco que ganaba 15 y ultimo, por el temor de no conseguir otra oportunidad, la situación de Venezuela más el momento que estaba viviendo no podía dejar eso que tenía.

I was already adapted to that comfort zone, to a poorly paid job, but for not trusting my knowledge, the frustration of the people of the political government, gave you the option to be grateful for what I had, it is not bad to be grateful for what you have, but you should always move forward not stagnate, what happens if a water stagnates, it rots, right? Well time went by, after 3 years my father died, at that time I was living a beautiful stage of being a mother of my first daughter, but my world collapsed to lose my father, did not cause me to work, they gave me the days off for mourning, besides having several vacations expired, it was strong what to live, the salary was not enough for anything at that time was $ 1 was monthly, I had a little girl of 7 months I had to take forward.

Estaba ya adaptada a esa zona de confort, a un trabajo mal pagado, pero por no confiar en mi conocimiento, la frustración del pueblo del gobierno político, te daba como que la opción de agradecer lo que tenía, no es malo agradecer lo que se tiene, pero siempre deben avanzar no debe estancarse, que sucede si un agua se estacan se pudre verdad?.Bueno el tiempo fue pasando, luego de 3 años mi padre muere, en ese momento estaba viviendo una hermosa etapa de ser madre de mi primera hija, pero mi mundo se derrumbó a perder a mi padre, no me provocaba trabaja, me dieron los días libre de luto, aparte de tener varios vacaciones vencida, fue fuerte lo que vivir, el sueldo no alcanzaba para nada en ese tiempo era 1$ que era mensual, tenía una niña pequeña de 7 meses que tenía que sacar adelante.

I remember once my brother told me about steemit, it was a platform that could publish earn money, at the beginning I did not believe, I published, but the votes were small, then I focused on a community called steemhunt where I did technology articles, then I was earning to cover the needs of the girl help my mother and me to get ahead, then came Hive. Blog, I started here creating content, the years of breastfeeding that they give in my country, working half shift I took advantage of it, until it came time that I had to work morning and evening, talk to my mother to enter the resignation, the salary was not worth following, it was already a job in the meantime, it took several years to take that step to resign.

Recuerdo que una vez mi hermano me hablo de steemit, era una plataforma que podía publicar ganar dinero, al inicio no creí, publique, pero los votos fueron pequeños, luego me centre en una comunidad llamada steemhunt en donde hacia artículos de tecnología, luego fui ganando para cubrir las necesidades de la niña ayudar a salir adelante a mi madre y a mí, luego llego Hive.Blog, inicie aquí creando contenido, el años de lactancia que dan en mi país, de trabajar medio turno lo aproveche, hasta que llego momento que tenía que trabajar mañana y tarde, hable con mi madre de ingresa la renuncia, el sueldo no valía la pena seguir, ya era un trabajo de mientras tanto, pasaron varios años para dar ese paso de renunciar.

After I resigned I continued publishing, in different communities where I did well, my comfort zone changed, I could be attentive to my daughter and my mother. Today my daughter is grown up, I am still by her side, watching her grow, which is one of the opportunities that the platform gave me, which is most important for every mother to see her grow, to share with her children. Today for me to change my comfort zone was a success because I enjoy my daughter and my mother.

Luego renuncie seguí publicando, en diferentes comunidades en donde me fue bien, mi zona de confort cambio, pude estar pendiente de mi hija y de mi madre. Hoy en día mi hija ya está grande, sigo a su lado, viéndola crecer, que es una de las oportunidades que me brindo la plataforma, que es más importante para toda mare ver crecer, compartir con sus hijos. Hoy en día para mi cambiar de la zona de confort fue un éxito porque disfruto con mi hija y mi madre.
