¡Hola!, ¿cómo van?, espero que se encuentren muy bien, hoy les comentaré mi semana de entrenamiento que estuvo un poco estresante 😅, espero que disfruten la lectura, ¡Comencemos!.

First I will start with the race I did on Tuesday, You see this day I felt tired, I thought it was normal and so I went to do my training, I jogged 5 k and although I did them at a low pace, I felt very tired and even a little malaise, I wanted to just finish the jog and go home, when I got home I started to feel worse, my head hurt 🤯, and I had a high temperature, believe me it was horrible, this same day I sneezed a lot and had a dry cough. The next day, I felt better, although I had a lot of phlegm and I coughed a lot and I still had a general malaise.

Primero empezaré con la carrera que hice el martes, Verán este día me sentía cansado, pensé que era normal y así fui a hacer mi entrenamiento, trote 5 k y aunque los hice a un bajo ritmo, me sentia muy cansado e incluso un poco de malestar general, quise nada más terminar el trote e ir a la casa, cuando llegue a la casa me empecé a sentir peor, me dolía la cabeza 🤯, y tenía la temperatura alta, créanme que fue horrible, este mismo día estornudaba mucho y tenía tos seca. Al día siguiente, me sentía mejor, aunque tenía mucha flema y tocia mucho e igual tenía malestar general.

Arriving on Thursday I only had phlegm and cough, I had no more discomfort and I felt better and decided to run, of course not at 100%, but at a low pace, at first I could not breathe very well, because my nose was blocked, but gradually it was unclogged and I could breathe more efficiently, also this day I only jogged 5 k for the same reason of the flu.

Llegando al día jueves solo tenía flema y tos, ya no tenía malestar y me sentía mejor y decidí correr, claro no al 100 %, si no en un ritmo bajo, al principio no pude respirar muy bien, porque tenía tapado la nariz, pero poco a poco se fue destapando y pude respirar con más eficiencia, también este día solo trote 5 k por lo mismo de la gripe.

‎ Correr con gripe, ¿Bueno o malo? ‎ ‎Verán,quise investigar un poco sobre este tema por lo que me pasó esta misma semana y conseguí un artículo hablando sobre un estudio que fue publicado en 2003 por Weidner y Schurr.1, bb, los participantes de este estudio eran estudiantes universitarios de la Universidad Estatal de Ball, Aquí habla que incluyeron a un grupo grande de personas y las divieron en dos grupos diferentes, un grupo que iba hacer ejercicio, como: subir escaleras o hacer carrera con una velocidad moderada por un tiempo de 30 minutos y otro grupo que no iba a hacer nada de ejercicio y los resultados fueron un poco inesperado, ya que el tiempo de curación del grupo que hizo ejercicio fue solo un poco más eficiente con el otro grupo que no hizo nada de ejercicio, aunque...El fallo más obvio del estudio de Weidner y Schurr es que no había garantía de que todos los sujetos tuvieran la misma enfermedad ‎

Despues el grupo Weidner realizó otro estudio con el mismo enfoque, pero está vez a los dos grupos de estudiantes fueron inoculados voluntariamente con un virus del resfriado al comienzo del estudio 2, y adivinen... Los resultados fueron los mismos, solo hubo una mejora significativa en los que hacía ejercicio, pero si nos queda, que podemos hacer nuestras actividades físicas mientras tengamos gripe, obviamente no vamos a dar el 100%, pero si vamos a mantenernos activos, aunque si tú cuerpo requiere de un descanso, dáselo no seas imprudente.
