Well, my husband had woke up that time because he would go to sleep and he told me to turn off the mobile data and hotspot on my phone so I had to get up and get my phone to do so. By then I was having a hard time getting back to sleep. I know my body needed a lot of rest but I didn't know why I wasn't able to get back to sleep. I didn't have coffee before bed but I'm wondering why I couldn't sleep even if I wanted to. I wasn't thinking of something too. So instead of pushing hard myself to sleep again I just scrolled my phone hoping that in the middle of watching some entertainment on my phone I would be able to sleep. But it didn't happen until my alarm rings. I didn't get up immediately after I dismissed my alarm. It was five minutes after when I decided to get up. As soon as I get up, I opened my actifit app so that my activity would be recorded eventhough I only move a little. Small numbers always counts. Preparing food, eating, etcetera were the things I did before I get back to sleep by 6 am. I was having a good sleep for more than an hour and quarter to eight I get up. When I was in my room, the rays of the sun penetrated to the small holes on the wall. Witnessing it by that time, I couldn't help but get up immediately because I remembered that I needed to hang the clothes that weren't dried yesterday. I needed to take the opportunity that the sun was showing. After hanging the clothes, what's next? >*Hoy me desperté una hora antes de que sonara la alarma. Después de colgar la ropa, ¿qué seguía?* ### Doing the laundry Though there were lots of clothes that hadn't dried yet I still pursue in washing the little pile of dirty clothes so that when those hanged clothes outside would be dried up I could replace it with the newly washed clothes. It's been days since the last time the sun had showed up so now that it finally appeared I need to wash the clothes while there's an opportunity that those will be dried up. >*Aunque había mucha ropa sin secar, sigo lavando el pequeño montón de ropa sucia para que, cuando la ropa colgada se seque, pueda reemplazarla con la recién lavada. I really felt energize doing some things today even if I only had few hours of sleep. Seems like seeing the sun had inspired me. I admit I miss the presence of the sun and when it finally showed up I felt inspired doing a lot of works. >*Aunque hoy salió el sol, el camino aún no estaba seco, así que tuve que usar botas para no quedarme atascado en el lodo. The blue sky and the newly grown up leaves of the mahogany tree was really beautiful. It feels so wonderful witnessing how the leaves started to appear and grow vibrantly. With the brightness of the sun reflecting on each growing leaves it even made the leaves more beautiful to one's sight. After making myself contented in watching the scenery above me I resumed picking some branches. There were so many big falling branches that we found and we filled two sacks. After filling the sacks that we've brought we went home. My husband and my youngest son had already woke up. I rested for a while and then decided to went out once again. We went back picking some firewoods but it's not the falling branches that we targeted. That time we picked the fruit of the mahogany because there were lots of those that we had seen on the road before we went home earlier. >*Mientras recogía ramas caídas, me quedé maravillada con el paisaje. El cielo azul y las hojas recién brotadas del árbol de caoba eran realmente hermosos. Fue maravilloso presenciar cómo las hojas comenzaron a aparecer y crecer con vitalidad. It was already half of the day and I already achieved half of my goal. Seeing that number I felt very positive that by the end of the day I can achieved my 10k goal or maybe more than that. By one in the afternoon I mostly stayed outside the house to check the clothes. There were lots of dry clothes already so I get all of the dry clothes. Before the clock hits 2 pm, my husband handed money to buy food for the iftar. He said that it's better if we buy early so we could also prepare early. >*Haciendo esas actividades por la mañana, acumulé más de 5 km. Ya era la mitad del día y ya había alcanzado la mitad de mi objetivo. Al ver esa cifra, me sentí muy optimista de que al final del día podría alcanzar mi objetivo de 10 km o quizás más. A la una de la tarde, me quedé fuera de casa revisando la ropa. Ya había mucha ropa seca, así que la compré toda. Antes de las 2 de la tarde, mi esposo me dio dinero para comprar comida para el iftar. We decided to ride a jeepney because we would be going to the chicken meat shop which is 2.5 km from where we reside. We waited for about three minutes when we finalked hailed a jeepney. There were only two passengers on the jeepney. It was a smooth ride at first but in the middle of the way we encountered a traffic. The vehicles in front of us moved so slowly. Thankfully when we're almost at the meat shop the traffic was gone. Unfortunately as soon as we reach the meat shop we were disappointed because the shop was close. This was the second time that we had experienced this but what can we do? They weren't opened so we had no choice but to get back to our way. We didn't hail a cab or jeepney instead we walk our way to the wet market. >*Caminamos por la carretera asfaltada durante unos diez minutos y luego esperamos un jeepney. I stopped for a minute and took a photo of it and continued walking. It didn't take longer time to arrive at the market. The first section that we went to was the fish area. I bought half kilo of galunggong which cost almost two dollars. Then headed to the store opposite to it to buy cooking oil and Japanese ramen noodles. After we bought a kilo of banana which cost 15 pesos. It's way cheaper than the previous days. If only I got more extra budget I would buy three to four kilo of it but since we're on tight budget I only bought a kilo of it. These were the goods we bought and we headed home after. I fried the fish that we bought and cooked rice after. While I was doing these activities I didn't monitor it because I had to charge my phone since it's battery is very low. >*Mientras caminaba hacia el mercado noté estas hermosas flores floreciendo lindamente al costado del camino. Me detuve por un minuto y tomé una foto y continué caminando. No nos tomó más tiempo llegar al mercado. La primera sección que visitamos fue la zona de pescado. Compré medio kilo de galunggong que costó casi dos dólares. Luego me dirigí a la tienda de enfrente para comprar aceite de cocina y fideos ramen japoneses. Después compramos un kilo de plátano que costó 15 pesos. Es mucho más barato que los días anteriores. Si tan solo tuviera más presupuesto extra, compraría de tres a cuatro kilos, pero como tenemos un presupuesto ajustado solo compré un kilo. Estos fueron los productos que compramos y luego nos dirigimos a casa. Freí el pescado que compramos y luego cociné arroz. It's really inspiring to see this amount. Just hoping that I could still achieve it tomorrow.
