Q: Please introduce yourself to the readers and how you first got into this field of work –and who were some of your influences growing up?

My Name Is Lil Syl, I’m from Uptop Riverdale Maryland right there on 54th Ave Out Of PG County I been rappin but I ain’t really take it seriously till my Big Bro Baby Ahk Died. The whole gang has been tellin me I could do it but he influenced me to start recording and just to get out the streets and make a way for myself & my family.

Q: What has been your favourite project to work on so far?

GangLand because it’s different types of vibes on there and that was the longest I ever worked on a project.

Q: Your new album ‘Gangland’ is out and Who inspired you. Can you talk us through that?

Yea goes check it out it’s on all Platforms. My mother, my brothers, & just the whole gang to keep pushing.

NBA YoungBoy & Gunna & Big Flock.

Q: How did you come up with the title?

I’m From Riverdale Worthside Right There On 54th Ave, We Call It Lil Mexico Cause Round My Way It Get Real Active So Ain’t Nothing Else To Be Explained.

Q: What was the recording process for ‘Gangland’?

The Recording Process Of Gangland I only used three audio engineers (@Markizrey) Who Engineered 3 Of My Songs, (@yungwack) Who Engineered 11 Of My Songs, & (@blanquecinooo) Who Engineered 3 Of My Songs. It Took A Long Way To Get Here But Who Cares Though We Going To Keep Pushing.

Q: What artists are inspiring you at the moment?

NBA YoungBoy, Gunna, DaBaby, Etc.

Q: You have collaborated with some impressive artists over the last few years — who is on your dream list of people to work with?
