When we talk about russia's war in Ukraine, we should not forget that over the past 30 years, this country has intervened with military methods in other countries that were not in the neighbourhood. Let me briefly tell you about all the states in which there were probably a lot of Ukrainian Nazis who interfered with the lives of russians or russian-speak people. Although I am confident in our protection of the border, the risk of such a scenario still exists. So, on August 27, 1991, Moldova adopted the Declaration of Independence and began a new stage of its history. And everything would be great if it weren't for one small factor. At that time, a base with russian military personnel was located on the territory of Moldova, which decided to declare its own sovereignty. Once again, there is the country of Moldova, in which the russians (who should live in russia) have declared their own little sovereignty. And everything would be fine if they wanted to solve this issue in a peaceful and democratic way. But russians are not people who respect democracy, IMHO. The territory of their "sovereignty" was headed by RUSSIAN General Lebedev. Once again - Russian. Who should go to his homeland? After that, the war began, which led to the fact that Transnistria turned into a grey zone, not recognized by anyone, with a destroyed economy and international isolation. During the 20 months of the war, from 364 to 913 russian soldiers and their mercenaries died. It happened in the period 1992-1993. Thus, for the first time and not for the last time, russia decided to establish its own order in the territories of neighbouring states. > Мені, як для жителя Одеси тема Придністров'я досить тривожна. Ще раз, є країна Молдова в якій росіяни (котрі мали б жити на росії) оголосили про власний маленький суверенітет. І все було б добре, якби це питання хотіли вирішити мирним та демократичним шляхом. Але росіяни це не ті люди, котрі поважають демократію, імхо. Територію їхнього "суверенітету" очолив РОСІЙСЬКИЙ генерал лєбєдєв. Ще раз - російський. Котрий мав би відправитись до себе на батьківщину. Після цього почалась війна, котра призвела до того що Придністров’я перетворилось на сіру зону, не визнану ніким, зі зруйнованою економікою та міжнародною ізоляцією. За 20 місяців війни загинуло від 364 до 913 російських військових та їхніх найманців. Трапилось це в період 1992-1993 років. Також, там були присутні і російські військові. Війна закінчилася відторгненням Абхазії від Грузії, чого і хотіла росія. For 8 years, the conflict was practically frozen and only isolated battles were fought. However, on February 24, 2022, russia launched a full-scale offensive against Ukraine. Dropping bombs, shooting local residents, occupying cities, raping, looting. This is just a short list of what russia has done in my country and what I know not just from the news. Losses of the russians for these 6 months - more than 40 thousand soldiers, and ONLY in the first 5 days of the war they were more than 5 thousand. > В період з 2014 року і по сьогоднішній день росія воює на території України.
