But behind the door we could hear a lot of noise, which made us hesitate to go out, suddenly my friend took me by the hand and together we crossed that door. Once outside, the lights of the helicopters and other vehicles immediately focused on us, while a large number of soldiers scattered all over the ground pointed their guns at us. At least the silence was relaxing, I took a few steps forward and then I just woke up, it had all been a dream, but, unfortunately I did not wake up in my room to start the day, I was in one of the corridors of the school, apparently I was daydreaming for some reason, and in front of me, the reason. -Elias, I asked you if you would like to be my boyfriend, I don't like to be made to repeat things, especially something so embarrassing." Español Apenas y podía abrir los ojos, resultaba aún más difícil intentar enfocar aquello que nos observaba desde el fondo de ese oscuro y extraño lugar, aun no me creo que con solo un susurro a la distancia, haya sido capaz de desorientarme a tal medida. Lo buscaba… incluso se podría decir que deseaba encontrármelo, pero aun con tanta preparación, una vez este apareció frente a mí se demostró que todo mi esfuerzo había sido en vano, mi propio ego se encargó de cegarme y hacerme creer que después de tantos años por fin estaba listo, pero todo resultó ser una vil mentira. De pronto recibo una fuerte bofetada de parte de ¿mi amiga? supongo que intentando hacerme reaccionar, era obvio que debíamos salir de allí lo más pronto posible, después de todo, vimos algo que era mejor nunca haber visto, algo que según registros oficiales, ni siquiera debería de existir. En seguida emprendimos la carrera dejando atrás aquella habitación, corríamos a todo pulmón entre los interminables pasillos, acompañados siempre de la sensación de sentirnos observados, también comprendimos al compartir miradas que todo el lugar lucia aparentemente un poco distinto a cuando entramos, sin embargo, ninguno tenía ánimos de detenerse a comprobarlo, luego de algunos minutos más, llegamos por fin a la entrada principal de la gruta casi sin aliento. Pero tras la puerta se oía mucho ruido, lo cual nos hizo dudar en salir, de pronto mi amiga me toma de la mano y juntos cruzamos aquella puerta. Una vez fuera, las luces de los helicópteros y del resto de vehículos nos enfocó inmediatamente, mientras un gran número de soldados repartidos por todo el terreno nos apuntaba con sus armas. Estaba tan asustado que parecía que mi corazón explotaría, y fue allí cuando un enorme y barbudo sujeto de uniforme gritó lo siguiente por un megáfono: —¿Quieres ser mi novio?— si, así como lo leen, sus palabras me alegraron bastante, aunque no sé por qué razón, y sí, soy consciente de lo raro que suena, pero que les puedo decir. Quería, mejor dicho, necesitaba asegurarme de haber escuchado bien, así que le pedí al sujeto que repitiera una vez más lo que dijo, y así lo hizo, pero después de escuchar eso por segunda vez comencé a sentirme un poco mareado. De la nada todo se desvaneció, los soldados, los vehículos, el paisaje, incluso mi amiga, y solo me vi rodeado de un infinito y vacío fondo negro, ¿pero cómo pudo desaparecer así tanta gente? por un momento, me pregunté si el culpable de todo había sido aquella cosa, pero de ser así, ¿por qué no desaparecí yo también? en fin, no tenía mucho sentido pensar demasiado, después de todo tampoco había nada que pudiese hacer. Al menos el silencio era relajante, di algunos pasos hacia el frente y luego simplemente desperté, todo había sido un sueño, pero, por desgracia no desperté en mi habitación para comenzar el día, me encontraba en uno de los pasillos de la escuela, al parecer estuve soñando despierto por algún motivo, y frente a mí, el motivo. —Elias, te pregunté que si te gustaría ser mi novio, no me gusta que me hagan repetir las cosas, menos algo tan vergonzoso— Al escuchar eso lo entendí todo, Mary la más encantadora chica que he conocido y mi mejor amiga, me preguntó si yo quería ser su, bueno ya saben, y no me lo esperaba, pero llegados a este punto sería tonto dejarme llevar por mis miedos, así que sin dudar le dije que sí, ¿y saben que? de todo esto aprendí dos cosas, la primera, fue que muchas veces nosotros mismos inundamos nuestro mundo con un simple vaso de agua, y la segunda, es que quizás debería ir al psicólogo más seguido.
